Hiking on the Santa Rosa Plateau Nature Preserve offers a serene escape into Southern California's natural beauty. Here you will have access to an extensive network of trails that wind through rolling hills, oak woodlands, and vibrant wildflower meadows.  For the experienced hiker or bring the whole family!

The La Cresta Wine & Appetizer Group was formed some years ago to connect all residents of the Plateau in a fun filled evening once a month. This event is held at a private residence and is a great way for couples to socialize. Bring your own beverage and one appetizer and enjoy! 

The Santa Rosa Plateau Riding Club offers monthly rides on the many trails through La Cresta and Tenaja. Followed by a catered lunch for riders and non-riders, this is a fun event for all residents of the Plateau. Don't worry! If you have never ridden before, there are plenty of local facilities that offer lessons. 

The Temecula Valley offers a diverse range of restaurants. From farm-to-table bistros and upscale steakhouses to authentic Mexican taquerias and cozy Italian trattorias, the area boasts an impressive culinary scene. Many establishments emphasize fresh and locally sourced ingredients, reflecting the valley's agricultural roots.

The Plateau Ladies Luncheon meet once a month for a potluck or catered lunch for the local ladies. This beautiful group was established over 30 years ago and is a wonderful opportunity for the ladies on the Plateau to socialize and establish lifelong friendships.

 Wine tasting in Temecula Valley is a delightful experience, with over 40 wineries set amidst rolling vineyards and picturesque landscapes. Many wineries offer guided tours, allowing visitors to learn about the winemaking process. Tasting rooms range from intimate, family-owned establishments to grand, estates, providing a unique atmosphere for every wine enthusiast. 

Downtown Murrieta hosts a Night Market every first and third Thursday each month   5-9 pm. Great foods, beautiful crafts, and fun entertainment for the whole family. Old Town Temecula offers a Farmers Market every Saturday morning 8-12:30. This is the place to visit for all your local organic produce.
