The Process

The process of selling your property begins with a consultation and some important conversations. It's time for us to learn the reasons why you are selling, when you would like the sale to happen and any other important considerations. 


Having your objectives and motivations clearly identified will help us set you and your family on the right path at the right pace. The better we know you and what you are trying to accomplish, the better we can be of service to you!


Why?

Your home is your life. It is where you have made memories, raised your family, celebrated milestones, and found comfort at the end of each day. The decision to sell can be a complicated one to make and there are as many reasons for selling a property as there are properties. So, whether it's time to upgrade to a larger home with more usable land, downsize to something smaller, or anything in between, it is important for us to know why you have decided to sell.


When?

It is important to establish a timeline based on your needs. If you need to move swiftly, we will create an action plan to bring the property to market fast.  With our amazing team of professional photographers/videographers, escrow officers, transaction coordinators, contractors, stagers and assistants we can have a fully assembled listing ready to go live in just a few days. If a move is further off in the future, we will create a timeline, evaluate options and develop a strategy to bring the property to market when the time is right.


HOW?

Before your property is listed for sale it is typically best to address any necessary repairs and make strategic cosmetic upgrades in order to present the property in the best possible light. This will maximize your home’s appeal to buyers, boost the likelihood of a quick sale and insure the highest sales price. 


In some instances, it may make sense to complete major repairs or renovations before going to market. There are also times when it can make sense to do nothing and sell “as is”.  But generally if it is in the budget and works with your timeline it is best to make the property look as sharp as possible before inviting potential buyers into your home. 

 

Take care of any Deferred Maintenance - The last thing we want is for any major issues to come up in that home inspection.


Declutter and Clean - Figure out what to keep, and what to sell or donate. A home that looks neat and organized will show better and sell faster. 


Update the Curb Appeal - It is the first impression that buyers will get of your home, and it is crucial that it’s a great one.
